Govind completed his Commerce graduation at Loyola College in Chennai and Post-Graduation in Management from ITM, Chennai. Thereafter, he joined LOTUS ROOFINGS PRIVATE LIMITED and subsequently acquired POLYTOUGH TUBES LIMITED. The companies are in the affordable building material space manufacturing Polymer Roofing, Profiles, Doors, and Pipes.
He is a Board member of the Medical Research Foundation (Sankara Nethralaya, a leading eye care institution) and Honorary Secretary of Sri Venugopala Vidyalaya providing high-quality education to middle and lower-middle-class background students at an affordable cost.
He is also the President of EO Chennai, an international member-driven Entrepreneurs organization comprising high impact and outstanding entrepreneurs.
He is married to Mrs. Nagaprasanna and has one son. His interests are Snooker, Swimming, and Astrology.
